(Some history of the Vinyl)

The vinyl record (also known as microgroove disc or, for ellipses, microgroove) is a medium for storing and reproducing analog sound signals. It was introduced in 1948 by Columbia records in the United States of America as an evolution of the previous 78-rpm record, with similar characteristics, made of shellac. As a synedche, the term vinyl, the material with which it was made, refers to the record itself. A turntable connected to an amplifier is used for the sound reproduction of a disc; generally a turntable allows you to listen to discs of different diameters and rotational speeds.

(Some History of the electronic Music)
House music, style of high-tempo, electronic dance music that originated in Chicago in the early 1980s and spread internationally. Born in Chicago clubs that catered to gay, predominantly black and Latino patrons, house fused the symphonic sweep and souldiva vocals of 1970s disco with the cold futurism of synthesizer-driven Eurodisco. Invented by deejay-producers such as Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson, house reached Europe by 1986, with tracks on Chicago labels Trax and DJ International penetrating the British pop charts.
